  Medscape offers a wide variety of articles and news in the field of surgery. A search engine allows easy information retrieval.
  Especially usefull it the fact that many papers include a stored literature search for the specific topic.
  The articles themselves are formatted in a consistent fashion, many in-document-references that are compiled in small content-lists at the beginning allowing fast navigation.
  Furthermore it inludes quiz-questions and the "bug-of the Month"- Infectious disease training cases.
  The Articles are recent and the site seems to be updated regularly.
  Registration is required for reading many of the articles, but is free of charge. This server is definetely worth doing so.
