In September 2001, I finished my PhD thesis in physics. This work was based on a collaboration of the neurophysics group of PD Dr. Klaus Lehnertz and Prof. Dr. Christian E. Elger at the Department of Epileptology and the group of Prof. Dr. Peter David at the Institute for Radiation and Nuclear Physics, both at the University of Bonn, Germany. From January 2002 to December 2005, I worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Dr. Peter Grassberger at the John von Neumann Institute for Computing, Research Center Juelich, Germany. Since January 2005, I work as a post-doctoral fellow in the Computational Neuroscience group of Prof. Dr. Gustavo Deco in Barcelona, Spain.
