Surgical treatment for pulmonary metastases from sarcoma.

Putnam JB Jr, Roth JA

Pulmonary metastases from soft tissue sarcomas frequently metastasize to the lungs and may be resected safely. In approximately 30% of patients, long-term survival is achieved. Prognostic indicators may define clinically the biology of the metastasis. Use of various prognostic indicators may assist the clinician in selecting the best treatment plan for these patients.
